This was a big of an impulse buy at our local Pets at Home, but sometimes things just sound really fun to try. So we picked up some ‘TopLife Puppuccino Style Milk For Dogs‘.
This is essentially just milk for dogs, this particular one has a frothy velvety cappuccino-like top when you whisk it, hence the name. The froth is very much for our novelty, honestly Stella will eat anything.
Because the product uses Goat’s Milk, it avoids a lot of the intolerances most dogs have when drinking regular cow’s milk, and if you’ve ever given a dog milk, you’ll know that they love the taste of it.
As per the instructions we kept the carton in the fridge before whisking and giving it to her. My immediate first impression was that it was going to be far too cold for her based on that. So I opted to only give her half the carton.
It’s a good thing I did! she absolutely went to town on it. She also made a huge mess in the process, slimy milk froth was NOT fun to clean up! But can I be too mad when she liked it so much? I guess not.
The milk doesn’t offer a ton of nutritional advantages; it’s milk so obviously there’s better benefits for puppies, but other than that its just a fun tasty treat. They have a bedtime variety with some extra ingredients for a natural calming in the evening.
I’d possibly buy TopLife’s Puppuccino again but I don’t feel a huge need to rush out for it. For around £3 its a nice little treat to have in, and with Stella we get two servings, so that’s a win.
